Lost Faith by Aditi Miriam

Once upon a time there lived a girl called Priya. She was a healthy little twelve-year-old. One day she got sick. At first her parents thought that it was a normal cold but slowly it got really bad. When the doctors saw this, they came with bad news to Priya’s parents and told them that Priya was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis, a very rare disease and that she would die. Her parents and siblings were in their worst states. Her parents took extreme care of her. Her mother loved God and prayed to him every single day. Priya’s condition got worse day by day and finally she had to stay in hospital for two whole months. Because of the medicines she took her other parts of the body had an impact on it.Her mother stayed with her every single day and her father did two jobs to take care of the money and her. She didn’t go to school for a whole year because of this. One day she started crying to her mother that she wanted to die and that she couldn’t handle the pain anymore and that time her mother lost faith in God. Her mother started crying that she wanted her to stay and have a healthy life. Priya felt bad for her mother and did not know what to say. One day Priya’s little sister Isabel called Priya to climb a tree. Priya thought it would be fun to do something for fun for once so she went and climbed the tree and suddenly the tree’s branch shook where Priya was sitting and it fell down from 30 feet tall and Isabel climbed down and started screaming to her parents about the accident in tears. Then immediately Priya’s parents took her to the hospital and she was put in ICU. The doctors said that she wouldn’t make it.But suddenly her heart started beating properly and everything started to become normal. That moment God spoke to Priya and told her that she had to stay and that exact moment her mother’s faith came back. After two days a scientific phenomenon happened Priya’s pulmonary fibrosis was cured because of God’s grace and from that day she lived happily ever after as a young active girl.
